Do you love Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers and think of yourself as an ambassador for the Breed? Interested in becoming a member of SCWTCA? The following procedures will start you on your way:

1. Please download the application forms on this page or contact the Membership Chair to request that a membership packet be mailed to you.
2. The application forms can be filled out and printed directly from your computer, but with dual applications, each member of the household must complete their respective portion. You will first need:
   1. To be member(s) of the Open Registry.
   2. To be sponsored by two (2) SCWTCA members in good standing who have been personally well acquainted with you for at least two (2) years prior to your application and who can attest to your integrity, reliability, and good practices as a responsible dog owner or breeder. (Other guidelines below.)
   3. To have OFA numbers or PennHIP ratings and current CERF Registry numbers for all of your dogs over two (2) years old unless you indicate that you do not intend to breed them.
3. The Application for Membership and both sponsor letters must be completed within six (6) months of each other.
4. Upon receipt of the complete application and sponsor letters, applications will be published online to SCWTCA membership a minimum thirty (30) days and reviewed at specified Board dates for possible admittance to the Club.

Additional Guidelines:   Each sponsor must submit a separate form and may not reside in the same household or be members of the same immediate family — of one another or of the applicant in either instance. No more than one sponsor may be on the national club Board; however, both may be the same for each applicant.
